Ownership of Products

The seller retains ownership of all goods until full payment has been received in cleared funds. In the event of non-payment in accordance with the agreed terms, the seller reserves the right to recover the goods. The client grants permission for the seller to access the property, where reasonably necessary, to retrieve unpaid goods. Access may be facilitated via a lockbox, managing agent, or other agreed means. The seller will provide reasonable notice prior to any such access and will act in a reasonable and lawful manner at all times.

Returns and Refunds

There is a 20% restocking fee for all returns. Returns of custom-made or bespoke items are not accepted unless faulty. Refunds are processed within 7 days of receiving the returned items.

Measurement Disclaimer:

Whilst we are happy to review photos and walk-through videos and provide guidance on suitable inventory, we cannot guarantee accuracy where precise measurements have not been provided. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that all items will fit the intended space.

Any returns or exchanges resulting from incorrect sizing or fit will be subject to the standard 20% restocking fee, along with applicable delivery charges for the return and any replacement items.

To minimise the risk of this, clients may book a survey prior to ordering:

  • A physical survey (charged between £99 and £299 depending on location), or 
  • A virtual survey (free of charge), where we can guide you through the property remotely. 

Packaging and Furniture Disposal

Packaging disposal is provided free of charge. Furniture disposal, if required, is charged at £30 + VAT per item.

Validity of Quote

All quotations are valid for 30 days. Delays in confirmation or payment may result in extended lead times and/or revised scheduling.

Access and Readiness

The property must be fully accessible and ready for installation on the agreed date. A lockbox is preferred to facilitate access.

If access cannot be gained or installation cannot proceed due to the property not being ready, a redelivery charge of £499 to £799 + VAT will apply.

Rescheduling

Changes to delivery or installation dates must be requested at least 3 days in advance.

Payment

Full payment must be made at least 2 days prior to the scheduled installation date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Appliance Warranties

We act solely as a vendor for all electrical goods supplied. All appliances are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, and it is the client’s responsibility to ensure that any warranty is registered or activated directly with the manufacturer where required.

All relevant warranty documentation will be left with the appliance at the delivery address for the client’s reference. Any warranty claims, servicing, or support must be directed to the manufacturer.

Delivery Charges

Your Property Furnished offers free nationwide delivery on all packages over £2000 + VAT, subject to logistical feasibility.

For orders under £2000 + VAT, the following charges apply:

  • 0–50 miles: Free of charge 
  • 50–100 miles: £49.00 
  • 100–200 miles: £99.00 
  • 200+ miles: £149.00 

Free UK delivery is only offered where proximity and logistics make it viable. Expedited or specific delivery requests may incur the above charges.

Accessing the Property 

Our preferred delivery method is via lockbox access. Alternatively, we can contact a nominated individual when we are nearby.

Please note that collecting and returning keys from letting agents or third parties may incur additional charges (depending on distance)

Any non-fault failed deliveries will result in charges to cover return and logistical overheads as mentioned above.
